Marco Pierre White presides over Hells Kitchen
After his triumph on Monday with the team’s first challenge, Grant Bovey has now started to excel among the celebrity contestants of Hell’s Kitchen. Tonight chef Marco Pierre White apppointed Bovey to take charge of service to the clients of Hell’s Kitchen and he coped very well with the challenge. Fireworks ensued with Jodie Latham, from Shameless, who seems to find it difficult to take part in restaurant service, accepting authority from a chef. Before the show Jodie said “I’m just here to do a job, I’m trying not to think about all the cameras. I’m just going to try and keep my mouth shut and that’s all I’m prepared to say right now! I’m worried sick, I won’t lie. I am a bit scared!” His fear is translating to aggression and I tip Jodie Latham for an early exit.
Tonight Jodie was demoted to the role of waiter to teach him a lesson, along with Grant Bovey – only because Marco thinks he needs a rest. So Adrian Edmondson and Linda Evans return to the kitchen tomorrow.
