Hell’s Kitchen F List celebrity contestants

Hells Kitchen will be run by Marco Pierre White
Reality TV has a way of working down the celebrity list quite quite quickly. The first seriesis generally full of A-list celebs, but by the time the fourth series goes to air the stars are the kind who cause many viewers to ask “who’s that?”  The list for the fourth series of Hell’s Kitchen is no exception. Topping the cast, apparently, are Anthea Turner and husband Grant Bovey. Their fortunes have suffered lately after his property company was taken over by the bank – HBOS of all people – and her furniture enterprise went into administration with losses close to £1m. Both their Surrey mansion and their luxury French Ski chalet  are currently up for sale with no takers. The couple will not make much cash from their appearance fee, but they are sure to aim to revive their screen careers from the publicity.

The pair will be joined in the fourth series by Danielle Bux, former air hostess and fiance of football commentator Gary Lineker and ex-rapper Ms Dynamite (Niomi MacLean-Daley). Male contestants are comedian Adrian Edmonson, former goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar and Jody Latham of Channel 4’s “Shameless”, who has recently opened his own restaurant but says he is prepared to take some tips from Marco Pierre White!

The eighth member of the kitchen crew is 66 year old Linda Evans, who made her name in Dynasty. Ms Evans was negotiating with the show bosses up to the last minute, threatening to pull out as she found the basic cast accommodation unacceptable. She felt she had accepted an ultra low fee for appearing, and expected to be able to stay in five-star luxury at the Dorchester during filming.

The show starts on Monday and runs for two weeks: in the past young women have improved their cooking skills. However Ms Dynamite recently went vegetarian and does not want to skin or gut meat. Putting her under the tuition of French chef Marco Pierre White looks like being a volatile combination.
