A happy ending for Samantha would be great - maybe she might see what an amazing man she had in Smith, and they could overcome the age gap? People need to believe that love will conquer all and this was truly inspirational and beautiful. To have Big and Carrie divorce or cheat in the sequel would make a mockery of the past viewings. To love someone for 10 years through thick and thin is what people want to see and we do not expect to see Big and Carrie split or divorce. If anything the film should be more about Kim Cattrall finding true love as well. During Season 1 to 6 and then the film it was Carrie and Big’s love that kept us all watching.
